I bought these knives as a house warming gift from a friend. He raved so much about them I bought a set for my home. I since several of knives (including the "Chef Tony hawks on TV) and I use most of these. I'm a fool for having sharp knives and have sharping various tools but my wife hates to sharpen knives and does more harm than good when she tries. I figured she could use these, she loves them! I must warn that these Sharp knives are super right of the box, my wife cut off a fake nail the first time you used them. Now I use these knives all the time when I cook. We love these knives so much that he ordered a third set for my mother's house for when my wife goes iinlaws there to cook. Like all good knives should be hand washed and dried and stored on the block with the edge to protect them. If you want good sharp knives and not trying to impress with the look, this is for you.

First, try to avoid stainless steels up the 440C pales in comparison with mid / high carbon steels such as 1075 in the celebration of edge / durability.
